Quorn Gluten Free Meat Free Sausages are high in protein and low in saturated fat. And this pasta bake works brilliantly with any of our sausage flavours. Serve it up with garlic bread and salad leaves for a hearty, family-friendly meal.

Ingredients

  • 250g chilled Quorn Gluten Free Meat Free Sausages
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small red onion diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 sticks celery, finely diced
  • 1 carrot, finely diced
  • 400g can tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 vegetable stock cube in 250ml boiling water
  • 2 cups penne pasta, cooked

For the cheese sauce:

  • 25g butter
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour
  • 1¼ cup reduced fat milk
  • 1 cup loosely packed grated cheddar cheese

For the topping

  • 50g fresh bread crumbs 50g parmesan cheese grated, mixed together
