Quorn Spaghetti Bolognese

Try the Quorn Mince version of this ageless family favourite!

Let's Cook!

  1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan, add the onions, carrot and celery and cook for 5 minutes until the vegetables have softened. Add the garlic and mushrooms and cook, stirring for a further 2 minutes.
  2. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, vegetable stock, red wine and herbs and stir well.
  3. Simmer covered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir the frozen Quorn Mince into the sauce, bring to the boil and cook for 2 minutes. Season to taste.
  5. Drain the cooked spaghetti, spoon over Bolognese sauce and serve garnished with fresh basil or oregano.

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, finely diced
1 large carrot, finely diced
1 stick celery, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
200g mushrooms, finely diced
400g can chopped tomatoes
½ cup tomato paste
250ml vegetable stock
100ml red wine
1 teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried mixed herbs
300g packet frozen Quorn Mince
375g spaghetti, cooked
